Again I found myself on Craigslist, this time searching for an upgrade to my SUB bass. I found a really great dealing on this Sterling bass (not quite Ernie Ball level but close). It has two humbuckers and the full compliment of switching and active knobs for tone. This is also my first roasted maple neck on a guitar or bass. I haven’t found the perfect use of it yet. I still prefer my P-bass for most things. The intention was to get Chevelle tones and the solution could be simple as new strings. Tone aside, I love how it feels to play.
