Fender Stratocaster

While not my first encounter with a Stratocaster, this particular one marked my inaugural experience with an American-made Strat. It found its way into my possession through a serendipitous turn of events. At the time, my neighbor, a music-loving professor, introduced me to this beautiful instrument and asked if I would be interested in purchasing it. Having been in his possession for years without ever being played, the guitar had gathered dust and remained untouched. The precise year eludes me, but this transaction took place shortly after my college years, when I had the privilege of acquiring it for a mere $350.  Which looking back was a steal and I am forever grateful he accepted that offer.
